HM Group has evolved itself into a co-operative business structure which is managed through a team of experienced staff members synchronized within it's various departments to form a solid foundation that links each sector to always ensure is performed at it's optimum. Our current operational business disciplines include, Roads, Building and Civils Construction, Plant Hire Services and our transport sector within the Freight and Logistics environment.

  • 2008 HMC - HM Civils is our proudly owned flagship company...

    Since 2008, HMC has worked it's way up in the industry from having experience on working on the Moses Mabida Stadium in Durban to landing it's first big contract to the value of 30 Million Rands in a sub-contract with Aqua Transport and eThekwini Municipality for the Rehabilitation and Ancillary Works of various roads.

  • Whilst the entire world was in peral during Covid-19, Director, Mr. H. Munsami, saw an opportunity in the logistical market and dispite the odd's being against all aspects of business, he took a leap of faith in opening HM Logistix which is now silver-lining through the roads and shipping depots of Kwa-Zulu Natal.

  • Building relationships is key to any business benefactor and through our plant hire services we ensure we build on those particular needs which in turn helps support all SMME's to take on projects despite a short-fall of any machinery. HM Plant Services is the way for all your Plant Hire and Equipment Rental requirements.

Service Policy

Our business operations are based around the mandatory competency of all necessary staff members to ensure Safe Working Procedures are always complied with and to keep all check points updated in regards to Labourers, Operators, Vehicles and a healthy environment where HM Group promises to deliver on it's Quality Assurance in every sector.

Health and Safety

At HM Group, our staff are annually sent for Safety Training and Medical reports. We are fully compliant with all health and safety legislation and integrate the applications into all tasks from high-risk jobs to routine activities and all staff is equipped with necessary safety gear required for site work. Safety always First!

Human Resources

HM Group currently employs a diverse team of over 100 staff members, among whom are professional and highly skilled artisans from various backgrounds and disciplines. Through our Employment Equity program we strive to ensure that our employees go through proper training to develop their skill-set and to create opportunities.

B-BBEE / SMME Development

Our procurement policy ensures that where possible all materials, equipment and sub-contractors are sourced from B-BBEE’s or SMME’s. Through this application we help develop local small to medium size enterprizes. We are a 100% Black owned enterprize on a Level 2 stage Broad Based Black Economic Empowerment structure.

Our strategic objective is to deliver professional services within our business disciplines of which includes Construction, Plant Hire Services, Transport and Logistical Solutions, to the satisfaction of every clients specifications. Machinery Maintenance

At HM Group we pride ourselves in keeping our plant and equipment serviced regularly and road worthy any any given time to ensure productivity is based on a maximum level and according to all clients standards. This reduces the risk of delays due to breakdowns. We have a dedicated workshop and skilled yard maintenance team of mechanics.
